Lindsey Gillespie

My husband Scott and I just moved here this summer from Texas, where we have spent the last 9 years. We loved our time there, but embraced the opportunity to return home to the “Mitt” and be closer to family. We were born and raised on the east side of Michigan, in a small boating town  called Algonac. I am an alumni of Oakland University with a major in Elementary education and a minor in Language Arts.

I began the first two years of my career teaching literacy before our move south. I am very grateful for the life lessons and experiences teaching Kindergarten and 2nd grade for the last 8 years in the Border town Del Rio, Texas.

In my off time I enjoy being outside, spending time on the lake, and taking my two pugs for a walk on the trails. We also fill our free time with Crossfit, running, swimming, and traveling.

I am excited for this new adventure in my teaching career as the new Technology teacher.

I am also learning the west side of our state is a true gem and we completely love living in Spring Lake!!
