Diane was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois and attended Catholic Schools there, followed by St. Xavier’s College in Chicago and Aquinas College in Grand Rapids. She started playing the piano when she was 8, the organ at 10, and started playing in St. Peter’s church when she was 13. She moved to Spring Lake in 1979 and started accompanying the choir at St. Mary’s in 1981.
She and her husband Ray have 4 daughters and 8 grandchildren. She has a “sweet” part-time job in the summers running one of the family ice-cream stores: Temptations at Chinook Pier in Grand Haven. |
