Elizabeth Rhein

I began teaching fifth through eighth grade English Language Arts at St. Mary's School in 2011. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Michigan State University in 2010 and will be completing my master's degree from Michigan State University in curriculum and instruction with an emphasis in literacy this May. I am certified to teach all subjects kindergarten to fifth grade as well as sixth through eighth grade English and math. Having attended Catholic school in my hometown of Lansing from kindergarten through high school, I knew my heart belonged in teaching in a Catholic school. I found my passion for working with children through coaching and teaching swimming through my college years and working with the organization Big Brothers, Big Sisters.

I enjoy reading, running, travelling, being with family and friends, cheering on the Spartans, and spending time outdoors!
