We are very excited for the 2019-2020 St. Mary’s Student Council! Election time is quickly approaching. If your child would like to participate in student council this year, please read all information carefully before giving permission to join the election race.
The Offices of President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Sgt. at Arms, and Historian will be open to sixth-eighth grade students.
First-fifth grade students may run for one of two class representative positions at their grade level.
All students running for Student Council positions must have parent permission.
All students will be required to collect twenty-five peer signatures to secure their position on the ballot.
On election day, students will vote on officer positions before the class representative voting occurs. This will allow students who are unsuccessful in running for an office to have the opportunity to run for class representative.
