St. Martin’s Kids last mission trip was in 2018 and we felt it important to give a video update on the history and improvements at the St. Martin De Porres Orphanage. Under the direction of the Sisters of Our Lady Queen of Africa, there are currently 27 children living at the orphanage ranging in age from 4 months to 11years old.
We thank God for all the Blessings He has bestowed on this ministry! Pope Francis will lead an act of consecration of Russia and Ukraine to the Immaculate Heart of Mary this Friday, March 25th as we pray for an end to the invasion of Ukraine.
Locally, Bishop Walkowiak will lead a consecration for the same intention at 12noon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Grand Rapids. You are welcome to join. Join in this moment of prayer in person or on the Diocese of Grand Rapids’ Facebook page at 12noon this coming Friday.
