Blessing of the Pets will be Thursday, October 4 after the 8:00 a.m. Mass. Bring your pets and join us for this yearly blessing.  St. Mary’s Senior Group, “The Young @ Heart” invites all men and women; age 55 or older to a monthly potlucks on the second Thursday of each month, September through June. The October Potluck will be Thursday, October 11, at 12 noon in the ABC Room of St. Mary’s, Activity Center, Spring Lake. Please bring a hot dish, cold dish or dessert to share. Table settings and beverages will be provided as usual. If you have more free time, you are welcome to stay and visit following the potluck; and those who are interested, can play BINGO. Join us for these important meetings to discuss the "Good, Bad and Ugly" of the current Catholic church scandal. We will meet in front of the Pieta on three consecutive Tuesdays: 9/18, 9/25 & 10/2 from 6-7 p.m. Discussions will be held and prayers will be said for the Church heirarchy and the faithful of the church who are struggling to deal with the latest news of abuse.
