Weekly Update We are ending our last week of class this week. I am so thankful for all you have done to make this a great school year! Next week we will be in class on Monday, June 6. We will not meet for class on Tuesday, June 7. Instead, please plan to join us at Spring Lake Central Park 1:30 - 3:00 pm for our Family Celebration. Siblings are welcome to attend. |
Study Focus - Exercise This week our focus question was, "How do we stay safe when exercising?" We discussed the safety equipment needed to keep us from getting hurt. We also reviewed what to do when someone is hurt including helping them find an adult or calling 911. For our Religion lesson this week, we learned about Pentecost. At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came down over the disciples of Jesus. Just like the Holy Spirit came down like a dove at the Baptism of Jesus, the Holy Spirit came down like tongues of fire. After this, they were ready and able to help teach everyone about Jesus. Celebrating Pentecost is like celebrating the birthday of the church. |
Special Class Schedule Monday - Art and STEM Class Tuesday - Spanish Wednesday - Music Class Friday - PE - please be sure to pack gym shoes |
