RCIA Rite Of Christian Initiation Of Adults
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is designed primarily for adults and older children who are not baptized and are looking to join the Catholic Church. It is also used as an initiation process for people who have been baptized in other Christian denominations who are interested in becoming Catholic.
All parishioners are invited to participate. It is a great way for Catholics to grow in their faith, and to welcome those seeking to join us. Each person going through the process needs a sponsor, someone who is already a fully initiated, practicing Catholic to journey with them. Sponsors are encouraged, but not required, to attend sessions. Our sessions are held on Monday evenings from 7:00-8:30 PM, beginning on September 10, 2018, in the meeting room next to the sacristy in the church, also known as the RCIA Room.
