Our 4th graders - on behalf of their TURKEYS - wrote a persuasive essay to their teacher, "President Mullally". The letter was to convince the panel of Ms. Doyle, Mrs. Mullally and Mr. Earl they deserve a pardon from being Thanksgiving dinner. Each student came up with occupations for their turkeys as part of their persuasion to be spared. There was a plumber, FBI agent, nun, private investigator, nurse, neurosurgeon, teacher, gymnastics instructor, gardener, famous actress, park ranger, paper boy, fancy chef, doctor, and President Trump!!! From the Lincoln Pardon...to the Doyle/Mullally/Earl Pardon --Congratulations and have a wonderful Thanksgiving! <3 #WeAreSaintMarysCatholicSchool #LoveMyCatholicSchool #SoaringWithTheSaints #HappyThanksgiving Beard Wars Results -Thank you for your support!

It takes a lot of responsibility to be successful here at St. Mary’s School. Doing our just duties and accepting consequences are skills we build each day. These RESPONSIBILITY CHAMPIONS were identified as the “ones to watch’ to see responsibility in action. We are St. Mary’s Catholic School --a community of responsible saints in training!

https://www.landsend.com/myschool ![]() Many have asked if our school was doing a wreath sale this year... we are not, but our PARISH GARDEN ANGELS ARE! 💚❤️The Garden Angels will be selling Christmas wreaths in the gathering space after all Masses the weekend of November 23/24. From the Principal
How fitting that we wrapped up our two week study of the virtue of PERSEVERANCE with All Saints’ Day and St. Mary’s School’s traditional Parade of Saints! Many of the saints I saw in the parade demonstrated perseverance throughout their life. As Father Dave mentioned in his homily today, this means they spent life constantly asking, “What more can I do for God?” Even when the answer was something scary or difficult, the saint perseveres. We can learn much from the saints we saw on parade today, and we will continue to do so as we keep focused on “Soaring with the Saints” this year. I know many of you joined us for our All Saints’ Day liturgy this morning. I hope you noticed how beautifully our two middle school choirs came together to lead our song. I was especially touched by the words in the offertory hymn that seemed to speak directly about our prayer to God for PERSEVERANCE: “Teach us to make use of the time we have. Teach us to be patient even as we wait. Teach us to embrace our every joy and pain, To sleep peacefully, and to rise up strong.” This week we identified PERSEVERANCE CHAMPIONS in our school. These members of the St. Mary’s family were identified as the “ones to watch” to see the virtue of Perseverance in action. Hope your first November weekend is blessed with joyful moments! Ms. Doyle |
