5th and 6th grade adopted a family for Christmas!
They brought in winter coats, pajamas, boots, and MANY fun toys to surprise three young children with on Christmas morning. They then personally wrapped each gift. Their generosity is sure to bring joy to these children’s hearts this Christmas! #LoveMyCatholicSchool #WeAreSaintMarysCatholicSchool #SoaringWithTheSaints Students in their Science Exploratorium elective unpacked and assembled a worm bed. They will be recycling lunchroom food scraps beginning in January! They also set up a new coding game where they can build mechanical computers powered by marbles to solve logic problems --challenging, rewarding and FUN!
#LoveMyCatholicSchool #WeAreSaintMarysCatholicSchool #SoaringWithTheSaints December 6, 2019 While in morning Mass —St. Nicholas left gold coin treats in their shoes...they will be so surprised! #WeAreSaintMarysCatholicSchool #LoveMyCatholicSchool #SoaringWithTheSaints What a lovely day we had Friday celebrating St. Nicholas’ feast day! The third grade planned a very special liturgy to start our day. We saw generosity illustrated beautifully in the jars full of coins and dollars for our Nickel’s for St. Nicholas Drive. Preschool through 4th grade students were surprised with a treat in their “shoes”. We had a festive and friendly classroom door decorating competition and all classes enjoyed an afternoon break with hot chocolate and marshmallows! Service hour and Student Council students really pitched in and made it a day to remember. I am just so grateful that we are blessed to mingle faith and education throughout our days at school.
