What a lovely day we had Friday celebrating St. Nicholas’ feast day! The third grade planned a very special liturgy to start our day. We saw generosity illustrated beautifully in the jars full of coins and dollars for our Nickel’s for St. Nicholas Drive. Preschool through 4th grade students were surprised with a treat in their “shoes”. We had a festive and friendly classroom door decorating competition and all classes enjoyed an afternoon break with hot chocolate and marshmallows! Service hour and Student Council students really pitched in and made it a day to remember. I am just so grateful that we are blessed to mingle faith and education throughout our days at school.
