Wednesday Walkers Volunteers

• At 3:40 PM meet at Holmes School by the Walker Door (near the playground).
• At 3:30, the two signs and the student list will be picked up from Wendi Kujawski's office by one of these adults.
• K-6th all meet up at the south side of Holmes (near the playground) by the Walker Door.
• IF A STUDENT IS NOT THERE - check with one of the teachers that are outside.  They all have radios and can communicate quickly with other teachers and the office.   Note the absence on the List of Students so that Cathy can call the parents and verify that they have the missing student.  If there is an emergency - call Wendi's cell phone (on the List of Students)
• If you can not walk on your scheduled day, please call the Walker Coordinator.

WEDNESDAY WALKER ROUTE

• One adult stays in front of the students, the other adult follows at the end of the line.
• Encourage students to stay close together, older kids can buddy up with younger kids.
• Walk behind the east side of Holmes to Williams St. then walk north to Exchange.
• Wait until all students are in a group before crossing any street.  Students wait for the front adult to resume their place before walking on.
• It is vital for student safety that they all stay together and follow directions.
• Students enter through North doors.  K-6th grades proceeds to the gym until Mrs. Pearce takes them to the church.
