In consideration of working parents and to ease the burden of getting your child to Faith Formation class - we have a supervised group of students who walk to the church each Wednesday. Students at SLIS and Holmes gather together at the Holmes playground. Adults (each with a St. Mary's sign) supervise the group as they walk to the church. Children who attend Jeffers will need to coordinate rides with other parents or Harbor Transit as Spring Lake will no longer provide a transfer bus to Holmes .
When the children arrive at St. Mary's, the adults continue to supervise them. They will be dismissed church at 4:15 where classes will begin . To register your child to join the Wednesday Walkers group, simply click on the Register Your Child tab above and complete the registration form. If you are able to help supervise the children (with a reduction in tuition), please click on the Volunteer tab above. |
